WHO CC develops, directs and offers a wide range of courses both for students and for non-students.

Among the programmes for students are courses for PhD. students, medical students, nursing students, student midwifes, student physiotherapists and student occupational therapists. By teaching pre-graduate students, WHO CC aims at a pro-active educational strategy, were the Health Promotion practice taught gets to influence the different wards through the arrival of new staff with strong knowledge in this field.

Among the courses for non-students, WHO CC offers teaching and training of evidence-based Health Promotion in clinical settings for all types of hospital staff.

Further to this, and relating to the pro-active education strategy, WHO CC also frequently teach the teachers themselves, in order to further strenghten the knowledge and know-how of the ambassadors of evidence-based Health Promotion in hospitals and health service settings working and teaching in the field (this is e.g. done at the many WHO-HPH Schools).
